Mental capacity assessments

Mental capacity assessments determine an individual’s ability to make informed decisions about finances, healthcare, living arrangements, and other important matters. Conducted in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and legal guidelines, these assessments ensure a clear and thorough evaluation of decision-making capacity while prioritizing sensitivity and respect for the individual’s rights.

We are also able to provide assessments to complete COP3 forms for application to the Court of Protection and to fulfill the role of certificate provider for the registration of lasting power of attorney (LPA).

Fees are variable depending on the specifics of the situation, please contact us to discuss further.
